Video - 'Starting out on BAPP'

Hey guys,

After 2 and half hours spent with my sister giggling in the kitchen, I have eventually managed to upload my video to Youtube.  However I don't know how you post it from the BAPPMDX channel, any clues would be greatly appreciated.  I will however post the link on the channel in the comment box in the meantime.

The video is a little insight into how I'm finding the course, the things I'm struggling with, the things I am finding most interesting etc... and if nothing else, I hope you find it entertaining to watch :)

Enjoy :) xxx

  1. Hi Jo
You came across very relaxed speaking infront of the camera..I had to do so many takes, it was fun making it...I'm curious to know how this course will help you achieve what in are aspiring to do.
I was asking about how to upload from one Channel (our own Channel) to another but I think after asking it doesn't seem to be possible apart from linking into the BAPP Channel comment box. But it would be good to know how to if it can be done. You could ask Paula to upload this for you onto the BAPP Channel from her end if you wanted to as that is what the assignment requests. I think a link is enough as I would want people to visit and comment on my Channel and see my selection of videos.. But that's what I would think. Best wishes

  2. Hi Corinda,

Thank you for your comment. I'm glad I seem relaxed, especially after an hour of having fits of giggles, hehe, I don't think I'd be very good at TV work, they'd have to keep re-taking!

I guess I didnt mention what my aspirations are after the course, as I was mainly focusing on starting out on the course and how I was finding it etc..
I'd love to eventually go into teaching and as I only have a diploma I need to top it up to then eventually do a PGCE. This course seemed perfect as I am able to still work and study at the same time :)

I spoke to Paula and she said a link to the video is fine, but if you wish she can post it on the BAPP channel if you send her the link.

Thanks for all your comments, take care, Jo xxx

  3. Hi Jo,

I really enjoyed watching that. You came across so relaxed and spoke very naturally and spontaneously.
Like Corinda, I felt like I didn't know why you were taking the course. I knew how you felt, and how it was going, but not what your aims and aspirations were.

With regards to posting the video on the BAPP channel, it's becoming more and more apparent that it's fine to do what most of us have done and post the video on our own channels, so I wouldn't worry too much about that!

  4. hi

Been looking at BAPP youtube clips. You seemed so relaxed like I was in the kitchen with you. I liked that.

I totally agree with you about finding the balance with the study time. As a dancer I'm so used to people telling what to do 5,6,7,8 and off you go !
But at the same time I'm learning a lot about my organization skills which is good.

  7. Thanks for all the comments guys! I'm really glad I came over relaxed, I didn't feel that this task needed to be particularly formal so I just wanted to try and be as casual and as natural as possible. Looking forward to watching all your videos :)

  8. Hey Jo,
I agree with everyone else..you come across so cheerful and relaxed it´s a true pleasure watching you!
I also like the informal feel about your video..I´m still contemplating on what I want to do for mine....and keep on pushing it to the back of my plans...jikes...
I totally agree with your thoughts on dealing with time, when studying part time. It´s a good challenge, no??
    All the best ((O;
